Bank Group President Attends Third European Development Days-November 15-17, 2008

The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group President, Donald Kaberuka, has been invited to attend the Third European Development Days in Strasburg where he is expected to participate in discussions on major development and cooperation issues.

Tanzanian President, Jakaya Kikwete, for his part, is a guest of honor in this year's event in his capacity as the African Union Chairperson. European Development Days offer a unique opportunity to dialogue, share new ideas, create synergies and launch concrete initiatives.

The event is testimony to Europe's commitment to analysis and exchange of ideas in the development sector. Mr. Kaberuka is contributing to the exchange of ideas in a blog on key development issues.
