ADEA and Partners Organize Press Conference in Tunis

Some thirty journalists on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, attended a press conference at the Tunisian External Communication Agency (ATCE) organized to shed light on the meeting of African finance and education ministers scheduled to take place from July 15-17, 2009, on the theme: "Sustaining education gains amidst the global economic crisis".

The objective of the event is to engage African ministers of education and finance in a dialogue with external partners on options at supporting Africa's education and economic development progress within the context of the global economic slowdown and the means to attain such progress. The meeting was organized by the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA), the AfDB and the World Bank with the support of donors.
