Nigeria: Sheath Your Swords, Sultan Pleads With FG, ASUU

Sokoto — Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar 111, has appealed to the Federal Government and striking lecturers of Nigerian universities to sheath their swords and reconcile their differences in order to end the three months strike action and ensure that Nigerian universities are re-opened.

He also decried the recent Boko Haram crisIs that engulfed some states in the country, stressing that the only panacea is for the people to acquire both western and religious education.
