First AfDB "Dealer Event", in London

The Bank organized its first "dealer event" in London on January 20, 2010, reflecting its increased borrowing activities on the capital markets. The purpose of the event was to appraise the investment banking community of AfDB's funding strategy and requirements for 2010 and raise the Bank's profile in the capital markets.

It also provided an opportunity to thank capital market players for their continued support to the Bank in its funding efforts and to facilitate a better understanding of the Bank's credit story and strengthen its relationship with their capital market teams.
