AfDB Hosts Pida (programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa) in Tunis

The African Development Group is will host in Tunis, on 8th-9th April 2010, an important PIDA workshop. PIDA is the Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa, a joint initiative lead by the African Union Commission (AUC), the NEPAD Secretariat and the African Development Bank (ADB), for the development of infrastructure in Africa.

PIDA is a vision, strategic framework and Programme for regional and continental infrastructure development in Africa up to 2030. The Sectors covered are: Transport, Energy, ICT and Trans-boundary Waters. The Bank through its Regional Integration Department will be the Executing Agency for PIDA.
