The main objective of the event is to strengthen the cooperation and partnership efforts in the area of services between Tunisia and several sub-Saharan countries in order to increase intra-African trade, support growth of their economies, and promote economic and social development in Africa.

The provisional list of countries to be invited to participate in this workshop includes: Benin, Mali, Senegal, The Gambia, Burkina Faso, Niger, Tchad, Ivory Coast, Mauritania, Sudan, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Congo Brazzaville, Central African Republic, Djibouti, Guinea Bissau, Togo, Gabon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Angola, Mozambique, DRC and Rwanda. At the request of the Bank, Regional Economic Communities (RECs) and of sub-regional integration institutions will also be invited to participate in the workshop.

The event will span over two days and will be officially inaugurated by the Tunisian authorities and the Bank.
