Somalia's president named a new prime minister on Thursday, bringing a first-time politician into government. Prime Minister Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed replaces Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke, who had a long-running feud with President Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed. Sharmarke resigned last month.
