Comrade Adams Aliu Oshiomhole, has a pedigree as not just an activist but also the number one Labour leader who gave the civilian dictator, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo Nigeria's immediate past President no breathing space for all he cared throughout his eight miserable years in power.

Given the view in certain quarters that radicals and social crusaders hardly perform well when given opportunity to serve, yours sincerely was one of those commentators who promised to monitor the performance of Oshiomhole upon assumption of office on November 12, 2008.That was after a protracted legal battle to regain his electoral mandate stolen by political jobbers and their "god-fathers". By November 12, 2009 when he clocked one year in office as Comrade Governor of the abode of the great ancient Kingdom aptly christened "The Heartbeat of the Nation", I told one of my colleagues on the Editorial Board of this paper that I would still deliver my verdict.
