Nairobi — Earlier in the week two operatives got in touch with me with "corrections" on the vexing matter of the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The first official, who is connected to the vice-president's circle, was fronting what I would call the orthodox official view. He was clearly not amused. No, no, no, he insisted, nobody is pulling out of the ICC.
