PRESIDENT Rupiah Banda has sent a message of condolences to the Japanese government over the death of thousands of people in an earthquake that took place on Friday last week.
Special assistant to the president for Press and public relations, Dickson Jere said in a statement yesterday that Mr Banda was hopeful that those involved in rescue operations would have the strength and courage to carry out their mission.
