Sergio Soares, Journalist Portuguese News Agency: "This kind of breakfast meeting only happens once in a blue moon".

What are your impressions following your breakfast meeting with AfDB President today?

This is great. The breakfast meeting with the President of the African Development Bank was very informative to me. It provided me with the opportunity to gather more crucial information on the African continent and also on what the Bank Group does to reduce poverty, and to upgrade African's well-beings. It was also great to see how he interacted with all the participants. Mr. Kaberuka has provided straight forward answers to journalists and has not avoided any question.

I was also impressed with the President's emphatic struggle for good governance and accountability in Africa. This kind of breakfast meeting was like an open book, with full interaction. It only happens once in a blue moon. All the journalists were on their toes and finally, they were all satisfied. I think, this will have real impact on the papers we are going to write. It was indeed a good surprise for me as a journalist.
