Kenya: Mututho Calls for Liquor Ban

The architect of the Alcoholic Drinks Control Act John Mututho has called for the imposition of a total ban on fortified wines and hard liquor in the country.

The Naivasha MP also supported calls by victims of the killer brew in Nyandarua that packaging of the drinks in plastic containers was a conduit for sale of illicit brews in legalised beer outlets.
