With barely 14 months to the deadline for the eradication of poliomyelitis globally and especially Nigeria by 2012, stakeholders have tighten their belt to ensure that resurgence of the virus as recorded this year , would be the last of its kind.

Recently the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) announced a fourfold increase in the cases of polio as against the cases recorded last year.
