Egypt: LE27 Billion Investments to Add 5,000 Megawatts

Minister of Electricity and Energy Hassan Younis said that the ministry has worked for feeding Egypt's national power grid with an additional 5,000 megawatts in 2011 and 2012 to face extra loads expected in the summer at a total investment of about LE27 billion.

In statements, Younis said electricity has now become available to all development projects in north and south Sinai.
