"I am fully satisfied with the African Development Bank support to Kenya" said President Kibaki. Discussions between the two leaders focused on regional integration and economic development.

They also discussed economic prospects in Kenya. AfDB has played a catalytic role in Kenya and in the region, by mobilizing both sovereign and non-sovereign financing instruments to promote infrastructure development in the country. Kenya's economy is one of the largest in the region, and the rest of Sub-Saharan Africa. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Conference on the Horn of Africa, held in Nairobi this week.
