President Paul Kagame will today join other Heads of State at the swearing-in ceremony of Kenya's President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta. The 52-year-old fourth Kenyan leader will be sworn in at Kasarani Sports Complex in Nairobi.
This will be the third time that Kenyans will witness transfer of power, but the second time that one President will be handing over power to another. In 1978, former President Daniel-arap Moi was sworn in as President after the death of Kenya's founding President, Jomo Kenyatta, Uhuru's father.
