Zimbabwe: Zanu-PF 'Manifesto' Launch Silent On Policies, Loud On Rhetoric

ZANU PF launched its manifesto at a poorly attended event held at Zimbabwe Grounds in Harare Friday, with the MDC-T set to launch theirs on Sunday.

The party, through its mouthpiece the Herald newspaper, tried to drum up attendance by making reference to the crowds that gathered at the same Highfields venue in 1980 to welcome the country's nationalist heroes.
