TOP Zanu PF officials have moved to downplay media reports suggesting President Robert Mugabe's divisive succession question was effectively resolved with the emphatic triumph of party faction linked to Vice President Joyce Mujuru in last weekend's provincial elections.
Mujuru is said to lead a faction battling a rival one linked to justice minister and Zanu PF legal secretary Emmerson Mngangagwa for the succession of the ageing Mugabe who turns 90 next February.
