Kenya: Former Ndaragwa MP Hails Uganda's Anti-Gay Law

Former Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni has hailed President Yoweri Museveni for signing the anti-gay and lesbianism bill into law. The new law provides that any person who will be found guilty of practicing gayism or lesbianism in Uganda will be jailed for life.

While speaking to the Press in Ndaragwa Township in Nyandarua County, Kioni said the boldness of the Ugandan President should be emulated by other leaders in Africa for the sake of our identity and protection of our cultural values.
