Five sponsors based in India, Kenya and Rwanda have pledged financial support to the World Export Development Forum (WEDF), which will kick off on Monday, 15 September, in Kigali.
The theme of WEDF is ‘SMEs: Creating jobs through trade’.
The sponsorship of One UN Rwanda, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Overseas Infrastructure Alliance (India) (OIA), RwandAir and TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) has enabled the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) to facilitate the attendance of delegates from least developed countries.

OIA is an infrastructure project developer with expertise in energy, agro-processing, gas distribution, transportation infrastructure, core infrastructure, information technology (IT) & IT-enabled services, water management, low-cost housing, railways, advisory services and health care. OIA has been working in Africa for more than a decade on projects with a value of over US$ 1 billion.
