Nigeria: PDP Guber Aspirant Decries Costly Nomination Forms

A People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Benue State, Dr. Terhemba Shija, has decried the high cost of nomination and expression of interest forms charged by the party. Shija, a lecturer at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, made the observation in an interview with Weekly Trust yesterday in Abuja after he purchased his forms.

"It is not too pleasant that one has to cough out more than N10 million just to acquire nomination forms and for a teacher like me and many other competent hands, in my shoes, it is not a fair game. I have served the party and government in various capacities," he said.
