The death of a young South African couple remains unsolved, after their bodies were found in an apartment in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, according to IOL.

They were found after the woman - 27-year-old Roxanne Hillier - failed to turn up at the restaurant where she worked.

IOL reports that death notices and a memorial service notice were published in The Mercury, a newspaper in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, for Roxanne and her husband, Hylton William Hines, 34.

A diplomatic source told The Mercury the bodies were in a state of semi-decomposition when they were discovered on October 15.
