This publication is made in accordance with the decision of the Commercial Court of Abidjan delivered on January 15, 2015.

Court Decision
Sitting as a court of first instance and after hearing all parties “Overrules the objection against its jurisdiction and declares that it is competent to hear the case.

Notes the failure of conciliation between the parties

Decides that Mr. Tanoh’s case is founded and partially grants his claims.

Orders Dr. Matjila, Public Investment Corporation (PIC) and Ecobank Tr
ansnational
Incorporate (ETI) jointly liable to pay the sum of Seven Billion Five Hundred million (7,500,000,000) CFA Francs for damages.
Orders the publication of the court’s decision, at the cost of the defendants, in all news media and internet sites in which the letter of March 1, 2014 was published failure of which the defendants shall be liable to pay the sum of two hundred million (200,000,000) CFA Francs for each day of default with effect from the date of the
service of the court decision.
Orders the immediate execution of the judgement notwithstanding any course of action open to the defendants.
Orders the defendants to pay costs to SCPA Adje
