Algiers — Algeria and Niger called, in a joint communiqué made public on Wednesday, at the end of the State visit paid to Algiers by Niger's President Mahamadou Issoufou, for a political solution to the Libyan crisis.
"Concerning the situation in Libya, the two heads of State (Bouteflika and Issoufou) expressed their deep concern about the situation in this country which threatens the Libyan nation in its foundations as well as the stability and the security in the region," added the joint communiqué.
