THE National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and Spanish soccer giants Real Madrid FC recently signed an agreement to establish a state-of-the-art soccer academy at Kigamboni in Dar es Salaam, that is expected to enrol youngsters aged from under 13 to 19 years.
Under the 16bn/- project, 473 hectares will be used to construct the academy that will accommodate five pitches, an ultra-modern Stadium capable to accommodate 30,000 people at a time, a hostel, administration block, luxury villas, restaurants, club house, 18-holes golf course, community residences and facilities for other sports.
