Nigeria: Troops Battle Boko Haram Over Damasak

Nigerian troops yesterday were said to have engaged terrorists to recapture Damasak, Borno State, a border town between Nigeria and Niger Republic.

"The battle for the retake of the town is being waged by Nigerian troops in conjunction with the Multinational Joint Task Force (MJTF)," Media consultant to security agencies PR-Nigeria said in a statement.
