Rwanda Plans to Triple Power Output

The Rwanda government wants to increase electricity generation to 563MW from the current 160MW by financial year 2017/18. Through the Energy Development Corporation Limited several projects are already underway to help meet this target. Recently, Emmanuel Kamanzi, the EDCL Managing Director, gave Agnes Bateta an update. Below are excerpts.
