The Rwanda government wants to increase electricity generation to 563MW from the current 160MW by financial year 2017/18. Through the Energy Development Corporation Limited several projects are already underway to help meet this target. Recently, Emmanuel Kamanzi, the EDCL Managing Director, gave Agnes Bateta an update.
