Nigeria: Ikpeazu Cuts Own Salary, Allowances By Half Over Workers' Unpaid Salaries

Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, Monday decided to make personal sacrifice by placing himself on half salary because of the pains workers were passing through over unpaid salaries.

He also announced a 50 per cent cut in his travel allowances, saying that he was feeling as much pain as the workers, who have been enduring months of unpaid salaries.
