AfDB Highly Represented At the Third International Conference On Financing for Development

A large African Development Bank delegation headed by the Bank Group President, Donald Kaberuka, will take part in the third International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD), taking place from July 13-16, 2015, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The conference is expected to address the recent multilateral efforts to promote international development cooperation; the current evolving development cooperation landscape; the interrelationship of all sources of development finance; the synergies between financing objectives across the three dimensions of sustainable development; and the need to support the United Nations development agenda beyond 2015.

The conference will be held at the highest possible political level, including the participation of Heads of State and Government, Ministers of Finance, Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation, and other special representatives.
