Sierra Leone: Ebola End in Sight

There was wild jubilation in the village of Massessebeh in the Tonkolili District after President Ernest Bai Koroma visited the area to celebrate with the locals the end of what many believe could be the last quarantine of the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone.

More than 500 people, the entire population of the village of Massessebeh, had been quarantined. It was triggered by a man who absconded from quarantine in Freetown in order to visit his mother at the end of Ramadan.
