Tuesday, September 1 is a historic day for the African Development Bank Group, with the investiture of its 8th elected President, Akinwumi A. Adesina of Nigeria.

The investiture ceremony will be held at 10 am GMT at the Palais des Congrès of Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, in the presence of Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Nigerian Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and outgoing AfDB President, Donald Kaberuka, among other dignitaries.

The event will be live-streamed on AfDB.TV.
