The current travails of the former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki might have been locked in by President Muhammadu Buhari's confusion of the political correctness of some of his actions with the place of the rule of law in an aspiring free nation.

The present travail of a former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki is a peculiarly interesting one. Entangled between a debate on the rule of law and political correctness that is result-oriented, the government of President Muhammadu Buhari has been called out to draw a line between these two approaches, however, in national interest. Hardly had Dasuki left office as NSA than he had begun to battle to retain his personal freedom, on which attempts are believed to being made to curtail allegedly in national interest.
