Tanzania: More Than 131 Bn/ - to Cater for Free Education

Dodoma — The government has set aside a total of 131.4bn/- to implement free education policy, whereby 18.77bn/- will be disbursed monthly, the Deputy Minister of State in the President's Office Regional Administration, Local Government Suleiman Jaffo told the parliament yesterday.

He said the amount is to cater for operational costs at both primary and secondary schools in the country, meals in boarding schools, examination and fees.
