In yesterday's edition, The Ethiopian Herald has published the first part of the exclusive interview it had with Prof. Harry Verhoeven, who who teaches politics at the School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University in Qatar, to discuss the peace and security issues in the Horn of Africa, the tensions between the Ethiopia and Eritrea, the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) and Nile politics, the South Sudanese conflict and Intergovernmental Authority on Development's (IGAD) role in maintaining peace in the region as well as the effects of the Yemeni crisis on the peace and security of the Horn, among others. Herald: Is obvious that Ethiopia takes the lion's share in integrating the region than any other country. Should Ethiopia be the only country to take the duty of integrating the region?
