President Jose Eduardo dos Santos has appointed the Board of Directors of Sonangol, reports the country's National State Radio (RNA) .
Isabel dos Santos is now at the head of the oil organisation. Dos Santos is considered the richest woman in Africa, with her wealth estimated at US $3.3 billion.
Her company Galp is Portugal's largest company in the oil and gas sector with share capital worth 9.5 billion euros. Maka Angola has conducted an investigation which "unmasks Isabel dos Santos and proves that - contrary to her assertions - her Galp shares were obtained via Sonangol in a business deal paid for by State money and public funds".
