Call for Papers - 10th International Colloquium of Rabat

In preparation for the 10th International Colloquium of Rabat, scheduled to take place in Morocco on 27-29 October under the theme: "Trade, Investment and Sustainable Development", the Economic Commission for Africa (Office for North Africa and African Center for Trade Policies), the WTO Chair of the Mohammed VI University of Rabat and the Laboratory for Applied Development Economics (LEAD - Toulon university) have made a call for contributions.

Candidates are invited to send their drafts or summaries to chaire-omc@um5s.net.maby 15 July 2016.

The 10th International Colloquium of Rabat will be taking place shortly before the 22nd Conference of Parties on climate change (COP22, Marrakesh 7-18 November) on 27-28 October. It aims to strengthen interactions between researchers from African and Mediterranean countries on topics such as trade, investment or sustainable development.

Participants will analyze the stakes of multilateral trade negotiations in relation with climate change and sustainable development. They will also examine the international commitment of developing countries in accordance with their social and economic needs.

An additional day (29 October) will be dedicated to the organization of a seminar dedicated to doctoral studies, aimed at young researchers working on the theme of the colloquium or on countries from the Mediterranean region. Click here for more information about this event.
