South Africa: DJ Black Coffee to Work with U.S. Singer Alicia Keys

30 June 2016

Nkosinathi Maphumulo, popularly known as DJ Black Coffee, is set to collaborate with award-winning singer-songwriter, Alicia Keys.

According to Sunday Times, DJ Black Coffee confirmed that the pair are working together, but refused to reveal any more details because he feels he "can't keep telling people everything I'm doing, as it may bore people."

News of the collaboration comes only two months after Alicia's husband Swizz Beatz posted a video praising the DJ.

DJ Black Coffee recently became the first South African to win the prestigious Best International Act: Africa at the BET awards held in Los Angeles.

"The DJ has been making waves in America with a sold-out tour and a spot at popular U.S. music event, Coachella. It is without a doubt that Black Coffee is a global hit and is definitely making SA proud", reports SA Breaking News.
