Judge Thokozile Masipa has sentenced Paralympian Oscar Pistorius to six years in prison for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on February 14, 2013.
Pistorius was released from prison in October 2015 after serving a year of his initial five-year sentence for culpable homicide.
The culpable homicide conviction was overturned in December and changed to one of murder by the Supreme Court of Appeals in Bloemfontein.
During sentencing, Masipa said the mitigating factors in the case outweighed the aggravating factors, deviating from the minimum sentence of 15 years for murder.
