Algiers — Libyan Foreign Minister Mohamed Tahar Siala greeted Wednesday, in New York, Algeria's "permanent" and "unfailing" support to Libya, voicing wish that Algeria plays a "greater role" in the restoration of "peace" and "stability" in this neighbouring country.
The wish was expressed during discussions with Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane Lamamra about the latest developments in Libya, held on the margin of a general debate at the 71th session of the UN General Assembly (September 20-26), the ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
