Launch of the MDGs to Agenda 2063/SDGs Transition Report 2016

ECA and its partners (AUC, AfDB and UNDP-RBA) will on October 2 launch a report, which looks at Africa's performance on the MDGs to date. The report is the last in a series of MDGs reports and it reflects on challenges and opportunities associated with the transition to the new global and continental development Agendas.

Report title: MDGs to Agenda 2063/SDGs Transition Report 2016: Towards an integrated and coherent approach to sustainable development in Africa.

The chief guest is expected to be Abraham Tekeste, State Minister for Development Planning & Economic Administration. It will be attended by Ambassadors from African countries, representatives of the key partners (AUC, AfDB and UNDP-RBA), academia, civil society and the media. The ECA team will be led by Mr. Abdalla Hamdok, Deputy Executive Secretary.

There will be a press briefing at the end of the event.
