Sudan: Kenya's Vice-President Underlines the Depth of Sudanese Kenyan Relations

Khartoum — The Kenyan Vice president William Rutu has stressed the depth the Sudanese Kenyan relations. He pointed out that these are deeply rooted ties, referring to the recent visit by President Uhuru Kenyatta to the Sudan and his meeting with his Sudanese counterpart and senior officials in the country.

The Kenyan Vice President who stopped over en-route home from a visit to Egypt, referred to the long engagement of his country with the Sudan, pinpointing to his country's hosting of the peace negotiations that culminated with the signing of the Comprehensive peace agreement CPA that ushered in the creation of South Sudan as a sovereign state.
