Nigeria: Govt to Empower HIV/Aids Patients

Benin — Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has pledged to empower people living with HIV/AIDS with income generating equipment to improve their lives.

Obaseki said this yesterday in Benin during the 2016 World AIDS Day ceremony where he was represented by his deputy, Rt. Hon. Philip Shuaibu, remarking that he had seen the pains suffered by people who were stigmatized and discriminated against because of their HlV-positive status, and he was going to do all in his power to make their lives more meaningful.
