Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire — The Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Department (FIRM) of the African Development Bank (AfDB) is hosting a Business Opportunities Seminar (BOS), on June 20-21, 2017 at the institution's HQ in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.
The main purpose of the BOS is to present the business opportunities arising out of the Bank Group's financing. Presentations are intended to provide an overview on the Bank's policies and operations; procurement rules and procedures; and ongoing and potential country operations.
The seminar also aims at increasing the participation of business communities of beneficiary countries as part of the Bank's operations and other public-private partnership activities in Africa.
Invitations are open to representatives and participants from member countries and around 100 participants are expected to attend the event. The target participants are: individual and consulting firms, civil works contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, commercial attaches of embassies from the regional and non-regional Bank Group members.
