Nigeria: Nimet Predicts Flooding in Parts of Nigeria in July

The current soil moisture condition across Nigeria shows prospects of moderate to severe run-off over Kaduna, Benue, Anambra, Delta, Gombe, Zamfara and Northern Yobe between July and September, according to Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet).

In a statement in Abuja on Friday, Mrs Tessy Ushie, Head of Public Relations Unit, explained that NiMet made the prediction in its 2017 Seasonal Rainfall Prediction (SRP).
