Nigeria: Zenith Bank Declares N75 Billion Half Year Profit

Lagos — Zenith Bank Plc has declared a Profit After Tax (PAT) of N75 billion, just as the Board of Directors of the bank announced the payment of an Interim Dividend of 25 kobo per 50 kobo ordinary Share to its shareholders.

The result saw the PAT which grew by 112 per cent, when compared to 2016 half year figures, also record a 77 per cent growth in revenue from N214 billion in 2016 to N380 billion.

The result also revealed that net assets grew by 2.1 per cent from N704 billion in 2016 to N719 billion in 2017.

Dividend warrants will be posted on the 25th day of August, 2017 to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on the 18th day of August 2017 while shareholders who have mandated their dividend to their bank accounts would be credited on same date.
