Nigeria: Govt Signs Agreement, Joins Global Partnership Against Tax Avoidance, Evasion

The Executive Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Mr. Tunde Fowler, recently signed two major multilateral instruments aimed at tackling tax avoidance and evasion.

These are the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI) and the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement‎ (CRS MCAA).
