The Constituency for Africa (CFA) is pleased to announce that Recording Artist Jidenna will deliver Special Remarks at its Next Generation Leadership Roundtable on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. This event is part of CFA’s annual Ronald H. Brown African Affairs Series, and will be hosted by the African Union Mission in Washington, DC. Jidenna, a Nigerian-American, is a Grammy-nominated recording artist and producer. He recently concluded a sold-out, 26-city tour throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The Next Generation Leadership Roundtable will bring together accomplished and emerging leaders for an inter-generational dialog on key issues including:
- How best to build bridges and unity of purpose in the African Diaspora?
- How to strengthen linkages between African immigrants, African-Americans, Afro-Caribbeans, Afro-Latinos, and others in the African Diaspora?
- What will the leadership of the African Diaspora look like in 5-10 years?
- Will there be identifiable leaders, or will the leadership be dispersed, i.e. on trade, on immigration issues, on education policy, etc.?
This event is expected to produce a series of strategic policy recommendations for the U.S. Administration and the African Union for working with the Next Generation of Leadership on an agenda for the African Diaspora. For more information and to register, please CLICK HERE.
