Nigeria: No Dichotomy Between Northern, Southern Muslims - Sheikh Bauchi

Lagos — Renowned cleric, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi has declared that there is no dichotomy between southern and northern Muslims.

The sheikh spoke at an event in Lagos organized by the Nasrul Lahi - L- Fatih Society (NASFAT), according to a statement from NASFAT yesterday.

The statement said the sheikh remarked that his visit from Bauchi to NASFAT in Lagos was an indication that there was no dichotomy between southern and northern Muslims, as was the thinking in the mind of some individuals.

The cleric therefore advised those present and the entire Ummah to further seek unity, love and collaboration with Muslims irrespective of their tribal or ethnic affinities.
