Kenya: Sonko On the Receiving End After 'Creating' New Constituency

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko was on the receiving end on Monday after he appeared not to know the names of constituencies within the county.

Mr Sonko had tweeted that his team was fixing roads in Donholm constituency.

For starters, there is no constituency in Nairobi called Donholm. What we have is Donholm estate which is found in Embakasi East constituency that is represented by Babu Owino.

Jamlick Kyallo said: "Lol i don't even wanna be associated with Nairobi no more."

Marto Njau added: "Who is the MP of your creation Donholm Constituency?"

Augustine Orina said: "Am sick and tired of you fixing one kichorochoro then taking pics from all possible angles then spamming Twitter eti Sonko na Kazi!! Again io Donholm Constituency iko ile place ulipeleka shonde ama?

Syengo also weighed in: "Mike Sonko's achievement so far. He has created a new constituency called Donholm"

Rashid Mzee went on: "Sasa kuna vitu mbili nimeshindwa ku elewa: 1. Donholm Contituency 2. Nairobi County Secretary for Transport Hizo zingine ziko sawa kabisa. #TanoTena."
