Botswana: Lizibo to Release Valentine Song

Lobatse — The Malebeswa hitmaker Lizibo is due to drop a love single just in time for Valentine's Day.

The single, a remix of Show you off from the Malebeswa album will be released for digital download at a link to be communicated with fans soon. It will be released to mainstream radios with studio performance on Btv's Flava Dome on February 9.

According to Lizibo, the remixed single is an inspiration from an elderly couple love.

He explained that he interacted with the couple when performing at their wedding, saying the way they expressed their love for each other touched him.

The song's lyrics, he said were meant to encourage people to always show their partners off and just appreciate their being in their lives.

Lizibo, popular for his serenading love songs said people should not shy away from showing off their partners and that they should do it every day not only on specified dates.

He noted everyday should be Valentine's Day, saying everyone should do all the little things that mattered and just put a smile on their loved ones' faces.
